Run to End Poverty - Toronto
Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon
Founded in a belief in possibility, Run to End Poverty (R2EP) brings people together from across Canada with a common goal: to eliminate extreme poverty in rural Africa.
With events across the country, R2EP provides support and funding for Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Canada’s work in Canada and Africa. More than just a charity run, this series of events shows our belief that a collective voice and a lot of fast-moving legs will make a difference
. At EWB, we recognize that poverty is not caused by the absence of things, but rather by broken systems. By partnering with systemic change ventures, we are dedicated to outsmarting poverty
; we aim to fix the broken systems that impact communities in Africa.
There are three ways to support R2EP and address the challenges of extreme poverty:1. RUN |
With a team or on your own - become a champion by encouraging friends and family to donate2. DONATE |
Support runners by contributing to personal and team campaigns3. SPREAD THE WORD |
Share why you run, the EWB story and take action against poverty.
